The exterior of the church is far more colour coordinated than the interior. I liked the intricate metal-work.

Gaudy doesn’t even begin to describe the trappings of this place. Aside from paying for entry the stone and gold work is worth seeing even if the mixture looks like stomach contents.

Across Charles bridge on the way up the hill there are many art and craft stores and galleries. Easter egg painting is a Czech tradition apparently and they hold annual competitions for the best egg.

Unless you wanted to spend your tour looking at the person opposite you walking might be a better option. This unusual transport has the tourists facing each other rather than the scenery.
