Calotropis procera, Sodom’s Apple
Calotropis procera or Sodom’s Apple. Apparently it has little confirmed use and flesh contains ”toxic milky sap that is extremely bitter and turns into gluey coating resistant to soap” according to Wikipedia. According to my father, camels roll on it as bugs that live in their hair don’t like it much either.

Dubai Mall Aquarium
This aquarium is probably pretty big, it has sharks, fish, people, coral, everything you could want in an aquarium. Even though it is big is dwarfed by the space it lives in. Everything in Dubai is big, even tables at restaurants are big, cars are big, buildings are huge and some people are big too. It makes a pleasant change from Paris where you could seat most of a restaurant in the space of a table in Dubai.
